To strengthen cooperation in the field of environmental protection, the Ministry of Environment of the RA and Hike Armenia signed a memorandum of understanding.
The memorandum envisages support by the Ministry in the implementation of the “Armenian National Trail” construction project, including assistance in obtaining the necessary permits and integrating tourist routes within specially protected nature areas, in strict compliance with legal requirements.
Within the framework of the memorandum, Hike Armenia will work to promote Armenia’s biodiversity and hiking areas within the framework of COP17, which will be held in Armenia in 2026.
